What size skip bins are available?

2m³, 3m³, 4m³, 5m³, and 6m³ skip bins are available.

What is the level that the skip can be filled to?

The skip bin can only be filled to the rim. It is illegal to transport an overflowing bin.
If a skip bin is over loaded the customer will be given the option of hiring another bin or the overloaded waste will be removed and placed in a neat pile next to the bin.

What is the maximum weight limit of the skip bins?

Bin Prices includes the following Weight limits

2m³ – 500kg
3m³ – 1000kg
4m³ – 1500kg
5m³ – 1750kg
6m³ – 2000kg

Extra weight is charged accordingly

2m³, 3m³, 4m³ and 5m³ bins are only available for Rubble
There are no weight limits for ‘Rubble” Bins

Where can the skip bin be placed?

We try our very best to follow our customer’s requests as to where to place the bin on the property – as long as the area is safely accessible for the truck. These areas include driveways, front gardens and over low fences. We cannot place skip bins on council property, such as roads, footpaths and verges without council approval.
Bins cannot be moved once placed on the ground.

What items cannot be placed in a skip bin?

• Asbestos
• Liquid Waste
• Dangerous Goods
Items such as mattresses, tyres and gas bottles can be placed ontop and will be charged accordingly

Do any of your skip bins have a ramp or a door?

Yes. Drop down doors are available for 3m³ and 4m³ Bins

How much notice is required to order a Skip Bin?

Give us a call and we could quite possibly deliver on the same day.
Please book at least one day in advance to guarantee delivery of the skip bin on the date required.

How can I estimate what size skip bin is required?

To estimate the size of skip bin you need, work out your volume like this:
Length (m) x Width(m) x Height (m)
Example
If your pile of rubbish is 2m long and 2m wide and 1m high
2x2x1 = 4m³
